Studio Jams Part II is a book of rhythms. Thought, image, material rhythms that move and circulate within the studio at one point in time. 

Kate Moss is an Australian artist based in Vancouver. Through material experimentation, her work explores the expressive potential of writing, colour and rhythm. Her drawings are a sculpture, a guitar solo, a skype conversation, a painting, a performance, a video, a landscape—hang on this is getting a bit naff—they are a line man, a guitar line, a horizon line, a smoke line, a stoke line, a toes to the nose line.
In her work things, objects, materials and moments harmonize. Working in conversation they begin to perform.

Soner Ön creates serigraphed prints on top of found comic books to subvert the memory of the "Poor Little Rich Boy" as well as to confront pop-cultural assumptions regarding social class and all-American prosperity and privilege. This work was featured in Printed Matter's 2012 group exhibition HELP/LESS which was organized around the theme of appropriation in contemporary art.

Using a popular film website's user-generated content advisory as source material, the artist created one-page synopses for 55 classic films. Equally absurd, funny, and revealing, each synopsis provides a representation of the culture of North American films, through multiple viewpoints, personal hang-ups, and idiosyncratic explanations.  

Liz Knox uses conceptual strategies, examining systems of interpretation with an emphasis on strategies of irony. Knox has an interest in the optics of reference and the potential of humour. Often her work is site specific and self-referential, being critical of its own situation as art as well as its physical and social situation. Primarily working with text, much of the work exists as artist books, large wall-text installations, videos, sound, drawings and multiples. Recent exhibitions include Black and Yellow Gallery, Vancouver; G Gallery, Toronto; Eyelevel Gallery, Halifax; Lawton Gallery, University of Wisonsin; Vtape, Toronto; the Justina M. Barnicke Gallery, Toronto; and Ephemeroptera, Brooklyn.
Liz Knox recently completed her MFA at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design and now lives and works in Toronto.

Hanna Hur received her BFA from Concordia University in 2008. She has recently exhibited at YYZ Artists' Outlet, (Toronto, 2013), The Power Plant (Toronto, 2013), Galerie B-312 (Montreal, 2012), and Xpace (Toronto, 2012). In 2011 Hur curated the exhibition Again, With Feeling!, with works by Jeremy Bailey, Hester Barnard, Doug Brown, Miles Collyer, Tara Downs, Lili Huston-Herterich, and Kristen Schaffer. She has an upcoming solo exhibition at Daniel Faria Gallery. Hur lives and works in Toronto.
